Wednesday. Better known as Hump Day, when I was working. Now its just another retired day. WOOHOO! Not too much happening the last few days. We played bingo at the club house here at the RV park last night. Dan won and so did another guy. They split 85 bucks. That was nice...We had another rain storm a couple of nights ago. It just poured. The ground is still soggy and mucky. There isn't anywhere for the water to go. No wonder they have flash floods here. The ground is so mucky that when you get off the gravel and onto the dirt, it sticks to your shoes and its hard to get off when you wanna go back inside. So, I just put on my ankle high rubber boots and wear them when out walking Bonehead. Works for me. The scenery is a little bit greener since the rains of the last couple of weeks........Dan changed the oil and filter in the generator. Well, I guess we have to use the 4 letter word sometimes because we have normal maintenance on the 5th wheel. But, at least its not work,work,work everyday! I think that Dan has become quite the "friendly neighbor" since we've been on the road. Because hes doing the "outside" chores on the 5th wheel, he always has people in the rv parks chatting with him as they walk by. I happened to look out the window yesterday and seen him across the road from us chatting up a storm with the guys that are parked around us. Guess they were working on someones brakes.....Went to check general delivery yesterday. Always fun to get that packet of mail from back home. Today will be a "hang out at home" day. Whenever Bonehead is done being lazy, one of us will go outside with her. The sun is out and its gonna be a nice day. Still somewhat chilly right now, but it will warm up to be in the high 60's/low 70's I think. Friday will be our "getting ready for the road" day, as we're leaving here Saturday morning. We have a pretty good system for getting road ready and it doesn't take us very long anymore.
