Good Tuesday morning to everyone! We had a great time over in Cle Elum, WA with kids and grandkids. I came back with what is becoming a chest cold though. UGH! I know it all started when I slept in an air-conditioned room all night. It was very warm at night and I should have gone out on the deck to sleep. Oh sigh....The weather was just beautiful. Hot, hot, hot! Just the way we like it. It so reminded me of being in parts of Utah and Arizona. A dry heat. I would rather sweat then be cold....This part of Eastern Washington is at the base of the Eastern Cascades. You can see the mountains and rolling hills. You won't see any plush, green grass here though. You start seeing sage brush, lots of stickers, long needle pine trees, and rocks. Cle Elum is a nice little town. Right up the road from Cle Elum is historical Roslyn. Here is a web-site for Roslyn. http://www.moosefest.com/index.htm
Real interesting place. Roslyn and Cle Elum are the kind of small towns we like staying at when we're out traveling in our home. Far away from the big cities. Putting some misc pictures on here. One is of me and Dan playing our bingo cards that we had printed out for the show, National Bingo Night. Ever heard of it? We have fun playing along. Other pictures are scenery, Seattle traffic, at the ferry boat, grandkids, Andrew and Tia (it was their house warming), and a picture of their house that rather resembles a barn.........Well, I really don't feel good. Stupid cold anyway! I'll see you all soon. Thanks for stopping by.
