Its been a week since I last wrote. Last Thursday we got all set up at Leaf Verde RV Resort in Buckeye, Arizona. Our friends, Jim and Carol, drove from Quartzsite to take us that night to see their friends perform. The Red Elvises. They were so good in person! My cousin Lynn met us at the club and we all enjoyed listening to them sing. I did something that I NEVER do and thats forgetting to bring my camera to take pics. I had to buy a disposable camera and haven't gotten the pics developed yet, but will soon so you can see them. I put the link to their web page on here. Check it out. Its a good web-site............On Friday we did our monthly shopping at Sam's Club and at Frys............ Saturday and Sunday we went to the NASCAR races. I liked going on Saturday the best. We had most excellent seats and could see the track really good. Sunday's seats were more expensive and it was hard to see the whole track. One thing about watching a NASCAR race is that you have to stand up and sit down ALL THE TIME or you don't see the race. I try and watch the big screen, what I can see of it when everyone is standing up in front of me. I gave up standing when the guys in front of me are tall. And I think its a "guy thing". They have to stand for several laps before they sit down. Well, maybe its a NASCAR fan thing. Anyway, cousin Lynn went with us and me and her went into the pits both days. We didn't see our favorite, Kasey Kahne, but we did see Gregg Biffle and Richard Petty. On Sunday Kasey smashed his car and was out of the race. Oh sigh. Leaving the race track on Saturday wasn't bad, but on Sunday we hung out at our truck after the race because there were so many people trying to get out of the parking lots, it was just better to chill for awhile, eat, and people watch. All in all it was a good weekend and the weather was great!.
Now we're back in the desert in Quartzsite. We'll be staying here for awhile. Through Christmas. Dan tilted one of our solar panels today so it would be more efficient. We'll be going out riding on the quad and doing some metal detecting. And we'll probably go south to Yuma for the monthly shopping in December and maybe go to Mexico for the day........Bonehead was glad to be back in familiar surroundings. She likes it here.

Hi there, Its been awahile since I've read your blog. So long that I forgot how to post a comment. For some reason I had to redo a sign in for myself. Anyways, it looks like you guys are having a great time where you are at. Things here are ok I guess. I started working 4 weeks ago, doing in home daycare. I love it. Very time consuming. So, are you all coming my way anytime soon??? Family coming to visit sure would be a treat!! :P Some more of that nummy cheese would be a treat too. lolol Other than that, not much else new here. Just getting ready for thanksgiving. The kids are coming down for the day and I've got alot of food to prepare. I'm making a ton of food for 8 people. I always seem to over prepare. After that Draven will staying here for a week or so, to give Jen a break. She's been working 3rd shift for about three months now. She's getting really burned out. Anyways, i'm glad all is well with ya'll. Tell Dan the man and cousin Lynn I said "HI"!! And bonehead too. Does Lynn have email or a myspace page?? You guys take care.
