Saturday, 5/23........Today my niece and her husband, Mindy and Steve, gave a combined birthday party for their kids. Grace turned 1 on May 16th and Caleb will turn 7 on May 31st. Here is little Gracie. Here is Caleb The party was held here at my mom's house. Thank goodness it was a nice day so we could all be outside in the kind of warm sun. The kids both had fun. Gracie loved her cake, as you can see from the pictures, and loved her new stroller. She pushed a container of bubbles all around the yard. (The bubble container took the place of a doll. ha). My great nephews, Caleb, Gabe, and Noah had wrestling matches. They did quite good for their age and they all remembered that it was only playing, not for real. Sunday,Monday,Tuesday...5/24/25/26....Not much happening. Just normal everyday life. Dan bought the oil and filters so he could take care of the generator and quad. Took his hearing aids to Costco to be fixed. Traded his broken hearing aid dryer for a new one at Sears. Stopped by our storage unit so Dan could see "his baby". The lonesome Harley which has been stored all the time we were gone. I'm sure he'll go "fire it up" soon. Soon as its hot out! hahaha. Someday. See? Just normal stuff going on.....Wed, 5/27...Today Dan is changing oil in the truck. Maybe the quad and generator too. Good old maintenance stuff. Its bright and sunny out, but only about 62 degrees. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! We are both getting so whimpy in our old age. Oh well. We love the heat, but we come home to see Mom, Christine and extended family in the area, ALL our kids (except Michael who is in GA), and ALL the grands. Hopefully we'll just go to Georgia sometime soon and see Michael, my oldest son. Maybe when its not hurricane season.........Next on our social calendar (like we have soooooooooo many engagements, hahahahaha) is going to Andrew and Tia's place in Cle Elum, WA for a family bbq in a couple of weeks.(Andrew is Dan's son). Most of his kids and grands will be there. Cool. And it will be much warmer over there. Woohoo for warm weather!!!!!!!!!
