The past weekend we have been gone. On Saturday we headed to Woodinville, WA to Nicholas' 5Th birthday party (one of Dan's grands). I had a room reserved for us at Springhill, a Marriott motel. The party wasn't until 3pm and we didn't wanna drive all the way back home afterwards. Besides, we had to pick up Dan's mom from the airport on Sunday. The party was good. Typical little boy birthday party with all the noisy little kids having a good time. Nicholas really loves transformers and he got alot of them without any duplicates. There was a guy there that had ridden his motorcycle with a sidecar and he took all the kids for rides. They really liked that. After the party we headed to our motel room. We took Dan's oldest grand with us, Caleb 13. He had a blast swimming in the pool with his Papa and sitting in the hot tub. We got to spend some quality time with him, just the three of us. I let him play on the laptop working on his farm from Farm Town on facebook and he played this game called farkle. He got sleepy so we closed down the laptop. He was laying on the sleeper sofa on the other side of a half wall in the room when we heard him saying, "Please turn the tv down a notch. There is a 13 year old in the room trying to go to sleep". Dan and I just cracked up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...........Sunday morning brought Caleb's mom, Audrey, over with the birthday boy. They all went swimming and hot tubing before we had to check out and head to the airport. I think they all had a good time. I sure do hate driving through Seattle traffic, well riding. Dan was doing the driving. Thank goodness in his truck. Traffic was nasty nasty nasty. We picked up Dan's mom from the airport, took her home, got her all settled, then we took off for home via Camping World. It was right on the way and I really needed to stock up on butt wipe. hahahahahaha....I knew everyone would like that bit of information!!!!!!!! Anyway, we're back home now. Thanks goodness. Always good to get home!............Today started out at 5am for me with having to replace the batteries in the carbon monoxide detector. It was making a real loud beep beep beep. The kind of beep that drives you crazy, so you do something about it. Dan didn't even hear it as he doesn't sleep with his hearing aids in his ears. I put in new batteries and went back to sleep for awhile. Being a nice mom, I went to pick up a clutch fan for Jason at the wrecking yard for his truck, dropped it off at his house for him while he was at work so he wouldn't have to come all the way into Bremerton from where he works in Belfair on his ugly little motor scooter, went to the post office and to the grocery store. Whew! Ok, I'm done! Just another normal day. Hope Jason gets his truck fixed tonight so he doesn't have to ride that ugly scooter to work tomorrow. LOL LOL LOL LOL.........Christine made us tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. YUMMY! My niece Deanna will be leaving soon for the airport. Shes going back to Georgia. Her son, Gabe, will be staying here with his Grammie for awhile........And, by the way, my sister Christine is doing a whole lot better after her summer long Ecoli blood infection. Thanks to everyone who reads my blog for asking about her.
