Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday 11/22/23/24/25/26........Mostly lazy days except for getting ready for the Thanksgiving feast in the desert. Dan watched the last NASCAR race of the season. Our favorite, Kasey Kahne, didn't come close to winning. Thats ok. There is always next season. Dan and I went for one long quad ride. We came to within 10 miles of the Colorado River and found 2 geocaches. We went a long ways through the hills and dry washes. We could see where the river and California was with the great view we had. We were trying to find a cache near the river. Another day when we have more time. We didn't wanna drive back home in the dark out on the power line and pipe line roads. Dan went out quad riding the day before Thanksgiving with Ken and Canadian Jim to find bullets and clips out in the desert where General Patton was with his troops. He came back looking like he'd been in a big sand storm. lol lol....When I wasn't being real lazy, I stayed busy getting my stuff ready for the big dinner. Dan and I brought ham, sweet potatoes, pistachio salad(I learned that its actually called Watergate Salad),some white chocolate fudge, banana bread, pumpkin bread, and some cranberry relish made with ginger. Sounds like alot, but it really wasn't. I already had the bread and fudge made. Everyone else brought their food, set it all out on tables outside, and we had a feast! Here we are at our wonderful Thanksgiving feast. It was about 80 out with a northern wind. To me the air had a chill but I wore short sleeves anyway and just enjoyed being in the sun. Sitting down, Don, Carol, and Diane Standing up, Ken, Sonja, Jim, Kathy, Canadian Jim, Dan Sonja setting up her camera for a group picture My sister, Christine who I talked about all summer in the blog, is back in the hospital again with that damn E-coli infection and pneumonia. The infection came back. Oh sigh. And I'm far away from her this time. Shes in good hands as her daughter Tonya is there right now to "handle" things with Christine and my mom. Makes me feel helpless cause I know what we went through all summer together. Gonna be thinking HAPPY THOUGHTS for my sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
