Me and my younger sister Christine. Dan and his buddy. Two peas in a pod are these two. Me and my mom Mariane. Dan and his "watching Judge Judy and Nascar" buddy. Me and Dan in the next two pictures with our niece Melinda and her family. Her husband Steve and kids Caleb and Grace. Little Miss Grace who keeps everyone on their toes!!!!!!!! Shes a character and Mr. Caleb is a cool dude. Wednesday, 9/29. Today we left Bremerton, WA heading to Quartzsite, AZ. The farther we went down I-5, the warmer it became. We love that! Staying at Phoenix RV Park in Salem, OR..........Thursday, 9/30. Just another normal travel day. We traveled from Salem, Or to Yreka, California. We've stayed at the Yreka RV Park before and we liked it, so we stayed there again.......Friday, 10/1. We turned off I-5 and followed a nice two lane road all the way into Susanville, CA. I remember the last time Dan and I drove Hwy 89 and Hwy 44, they were just nothing to write home about. Its nice that Governor Arnold has put some California tax payers money into paving Hwy 44. It was a nice ride pulling 40' behind us. Thanks Arnold! That was my political statement for the day, a nice one. hahahaha. Dan has his Uncle Jack here in Susanville and we went to see him and his wife Rea last night. She made us dinner, lasagna and it was most wonderful! Oh! Remember in a couple of entries ago I said that we were taking Dan's mom Mary with us traveling for awhile, so she got to visit with her brother......Today, Saturday 10/2 we will be hanging around our home in the Susanville RV Park. Dan is gonna work on the trailer brakes. We've been mostly without and they need to be adjusted or whatever you do with them. We've been invited back out to Jack and Rea's place for dinner. Cool. I don't have to cook. Always love that.......We are totally enjoying the nice weather. Its been warm to warmer to hot. So far/so good. I think soon we'll be looking at some chances of showers and lower temps, but ya know how "muther nature" is, so we'll just deal with what "she" throws at us hoping "she" doesn't force us to stop because "she" wants to get REALLY windy. Not to smart to drive in the gusty winds when "she" huffing and puffing.
