As you can see by the picture below, we have departed from my Mom's yard. Seems like we've been parked in her yard for a very long time. Since the middle of May. That's OK though. Its what we do. We headed to the Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, WA so we could go see Dan's Mom. This is the closest place to Maple Valley that I can find so we can park free for a few days. Works for us but its real noisy here. Way too noisy for Bella. She wouldn't come out of our rig this time.

Here is Dan and his Mom, Mary at the assisted living place where she lives. We took her out to Fred Meyer and to lunch at the Pancake House.

We stayed an extra night in the casino parking lot so as it was gonna be rainy and breezy on our planned travel day. Dan hates pulling our rig in the wind........So, we ventured on our short drive (always short, lol lol) down I-5. Looking south at the bridge over the Columbia River. Washington going into Oregon. Oh. I just noticed that I caught a jet in my picture! lol
Approaching the bridge. We are in the center lane. Dan pretty much stays in this lane going through the middle of Portland. We only have to move over once to head south. Look how "unbusy" the road is. This is what I call the "window of opportunity". 11am to 1pm. In between rush hours. hahahaha
I didn't get a good picture of the Oregon sign, but its the green one up ahead for the border of WA and OR.
Our short drive took us to Longview, WA and parked in the Walmart lot. Our friends Guy and Ardith live in Longview and came and kidnapped us for the afternoon for lunch and a nice visit at their place. Cool.
I've known Guy for a long time and he is the one of the funniest guys I know. Then he met Ardith and I liked her instantly. Nice, nice people.

After we left Longview, we ventured further south and are now in Deerwood RV Park south of Eugene, OR. Leaving here soon..........
