Dan and I went to Helldorado Days in Tombstone today. This celebration started 77 years ago when Tombstone was 50 years old. In 1929 the town wanted to show people that Tombstone still had life in it, so Helldorado Days was created. Historic events are created every year. Different true stories re-enacted out on the main street of Tombstone. We seen several gun fights, some stories of what went on in the saloons with the "ladies of the night", a guy who could work his lasso like you wouldn't believe, etc. Besides the actors, lots of people just coming to the celebration, dressed the "part". Gun fighers, saloon keepers, school marms, the struggling pioneer, bar girls, lawmen, Doc Holiday, the Earps, and many different outlaws. Even little kids were dressed up as pioneer kids. And, me and Dan stand around looking normal just coming off the bike. lol lol lol........It was fun. The pic of the man and woman walking together is suppose to be Doc Holiday and Big Nose Kate, his woman back then. You can go to www.tombstonehelldoradodays.com and check everyhting out. We'll be going back on Sunday to see the parade. I wanna take a pic of Dan with one of the "shameless hussies". hahahahahahaha.....Oh, I took a picture of a house where Virgil Earp used to live. Haven't been in it yet, but intend to go see it. Bonehead stayed home and "chilled" today. Shes been outside and is now taking a nap.
