MEOW MEOW MEOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm complaining a little bit. Today is traveling day. Heading to Portales to see Michelle and family and spend Thanksgiving. I'm glad its not far, so it will be a short day. Mom and I haven't written for a few days. We've just been laying low. Not much going on. This is a great rv park for a wonderful cat like me. I have explored a whole lot of it. Of course Papa is always watching me, but he lets me go rather far by myself. Hes been taking me out at night. I REALLY like that! The last several days Papa and Mom have just been doing not very much at all. They did go to Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge but all they seen was lots of birds. I would have put up with riding in the truck to go see many, many birds. I guess the other animals just weren't hanging around in the Fall/almost Winter. On their way back home they stopped to check out Sam's Club. They knew that there were high wind warnings for that day. When they came out of Sam's Club the parking lot was covered with stuff blowing all over. Like hurricane force winds. Mom said the stuff looked like wheat colored snow flakes with sharp prickles. She knows about the shart prickles cause she got her camera and was out in the parking lot taking pictures. She said that the prickly snowflakes thingys were all over inside the truck (they blew in when she and Papa opened the doors), sticking to every little crevice on the truck, and sticking to their clothes and hair. I don't know what the wind gusts were, but Mom said she was fighting to stand upright in the parking lot. Good thing she wears glasses. When they came home Papa asked me if I wanted to go out. Well, I stuck my head out the door, checked out the wind, walked outside for a couple of minutes, then headed back home. That high wind assulted my nose. I could smell everything and anything! I don't like the wind blowing that hard. Today was a good day to stay indoors. Papa and Mom went downtown Roswell again too. Just to walk around and take some pictures. We haven't had anyone park next to us until yesterday. I was sitting on my truck in front of the window and seen this 40' motorhome pull in. Later that day Papa was talking with the guy who lives in the motorhome. His name is Jerry and his wife is Laurie. I guess that I'm bigger then their little dog, but I haven't made eye contact with the mutt, so I don't know. Mom and Papa thought these were really nice people and will probably end up seeing them again out on the road. They all went to dinner last night at an "all you can eat" ribs place. When they came home, Papa took me out for a walk in the dark. We went all over the rv park last night, making me a very happy cat when we came back. The cold night weather sure makes me tired. I zonked right out on Papa's lap, my favorite place, for a good snooze.
