Good morning, 2nd day, from LVMS. The noisy place to be. The first picture is Dan and Bonehead both looking out the window at some jets flying over. Soon the air force base will start doing their "jet thing" and the sky will be filled with lots of noise. And as we get close to the track, then we will hear the ground noise. Cars and people. Yesterday we walked about 4 miles to the track, about half way around the track, and back again. Long walk and it was very warm out. I must admit that I had a good glow going on by time we got back home. (Ladies don't sweat, we "glow".) hahahahahaha........I love the heat though, so no complaints from me. We just explored around to see the places we had to be today at the Neon Garage, Saturday and Sunday at the races, and Saturday at 6pm for Dan's "driving experience". Riding around the track 3 times with a driver. The Richard Petty Driving Experience. Now we have a good idea of where to go, so today we will venture out to the Neon Garage in the infield of the track. We're suppose to be able to see the drivers and their cars, there is continuous entertainment, places to eat and drink, etc. I'll take pictures for the next blog entry. The entertainment is impersonators of famous singers except for The Four Tops. They are the real deal. Cool! Well, we're off for the day. Oh! Check out the picture of the row of rv's. You can see us in the middle, the truck is parked in front. The lot is starting to fill up.
