The last couple of days we just hung out at home. I took a few pics of Bonehead outside. We left Sand Hollow this morning with only a slight wind. The last 4 nights have been WINDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a good driving day, except for a part of I-15 that is almost like driving over a washboard road.
We are now above 5000'. We could tell when our ears did the plugging and popping thing when going up and down the hills. And, we seen snow on the top of some of the hills.
We are now at High Country RV Camp. Its a "mom and pop" operation. Its not too bad except we think that the dog that roams around here belongs to the manager. Our little spot is full of dog poop. We got rid of some of it and laid some boards on top of the rest. This place is a little bit trashy with boards and bricks laying around, so we made use of them. Bonehead has spotted the dog and is not happy. We've chased him away several times. Oh well. We're only here for two nights. Tomorrow we're gonna drive to the Little Sahara Recreation Area and check it out for quad riding. If we like what we see and can find a good place to dry camp, we'll be spending maybe 2 or 3 days there playing on the quad. Its windy here too. Seems like the wind has been never ending for the past 4 days. I took a picture of the view from the door of the 5th wheel. We can see a small mountain with snow on it.
Its colder here, so I know we'll be wearing heavier shirts and coats. We'll miss the nice warmth we've been in. Oh sigh. Maybe when we get back home we'll have a hot summer seeing as the winter was so cold.
