Good chilly Utah morning! Yesterday we had a wind storm like you wouldn't believe. We took the quad out to a different place before the storm hit us. We found some neat little trails to drive on and we followed a power line road until it came to a cliff. I drove the quad back. Dan said he was quite comfy on the back seat. As we were on our way back from riding, it started storming just as we were coming out of the local grocery store. REAL high winds. We had to unload groceries in the winds. Thought we were gonna get blown away. Poor Bonehead had already retreated to the loft. She hates the high winds. Then we got a few rain drops. Bonehead had finally come down from the loft and was sitting on Dan's lap. They were both watching the rain, which amounted to about 1000 drops on the windows. hahahahahahaha. Well, probably a little more than that. It was sprinkling a little bit. Poor Miss Bonehead hadn't been outside all day, so when the wind died down and it was still sprinkling, Dan carried her outside to the covered picnic area and we all sat there in the fresh air watching it sprinkle. Its always dusty here, but with the little bit of rain happening, it smelled like home after a rain. Clean. Later when we were watching tv, it POURED! Must have just been one big cloud though because it just pelted the roof of the 5th wheel for about 2 minutes, then it was dead silent. We were hoping for about 10 minutes of pouring rain to wash off all the dust and grime of Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. I didn't take any pictures yesterday...........This morning there are some clouds out there and its sunny out, but I know its chilly because the furnace keeps coming on. The countryside looks pretty with the sun shining on the red sand. I did take a picture this morning of the view from the dining area window where my computer is set up. Looking out across to another camping spot and beyond to the hills with a little bit of cloud cover.

We'll be taking the trailer back today and putting the quad and bike back in the garage. We have a low beam going out on the truck, so Dan has to fix that today.........Oh! Remember the new inverter that was being sent to us? Dan had called the State Park before we left Laughlin and they told him that they would accept it in the office and deliver it to us. Well, some cranky woman that works in the office sent it back to the inverter place. Oh sigh. Soon we will be at Chris and Connie's rv park in Idaho and the inverter will be waiting for us there. Its been so nice and hot here that we could of used our solar panels the whole time.............I wrote this in the morning and now its almost 6pm here. I had to put in the picture of the bunnie that I took this morning. I'm just now getting around to putting it on here. I wish it was a better picture, but he was so fast. When Bonehead is outside, we watch her when we see a hawk flying around looking for a meal. I figure that if the hawk can pick up this big bunnie (jack rabbit), he can sure try and pick up Bonehead! Shes not too sure what to make of these guys hopping all over the place.
