Well, the last several days have been pretty nice. Warm weather and no rain. Dick and Joanne rode from Tacoma, WA and Eric rode from Anacortes, WA to meet us here in The Dalles for the Cherry Blossom Festival/Teddy Bear Run. Dan, Bonehead, and I arrived here on 4/26 and got settled in at Lone Pine RV park. The other 3 got here the next day and stayed in the Shilo Inn across the street from us. Dan and I cooked spaghetti and had salad makings so we fed everyone on Friday night. Saturday we rode in the parade. It was nice out and there were LOTS of bikes. We love riding in the parade every year. Its fun and the people love watching all the bikes. We seen our friends John and Linda and their son Josh from Hermiston, OR. Neat people and fun to be around. After the parade me, Dan, Dick, Joanne, and Eric went for a neat little ride to Mosier, OR for lunch then came back a different way. Both rides to and from are real pretty. In the evening Dan and I walked over to the motel and we had dinner and played on the video machines trying to win some money. Not much luck there, but it was fun. Dick, Joanne, and Eric left this morning to go home. Dan and I are just getting "road ready" for the trip home tomorrow. Hes loading the bike back into the garage right now. We'll just putter along towards home, maybe spending the night. We've been gone from home since 9/11/06. Time to home for the rest of Spring and all of Summer, then leave again come September. We've had alot of fun out here on the road and we both love living in the 5th wheel........I will write again from home with pictures of where we'll be..............Pictures on this entry include our friends, Bonehead, some parade pics, and the mighty Columbia River.
