Good very nice Saturday morning to you all! The sun is out and its gonna be a nice day. Not a whole lot going on in "everyday life". Just hanging out with my mom and sister, Christine seeing as we live right here. We know that we've been long enough in one place now as we've had the "poop lady" come pump out the black water. She was rather expensive and we'll be using someone else. Its sure not the cheap price we paid when dry camping at Quartzsite! We made a trip to Tacoma to the Camping World and bought a macerator for our black water tank. We're gonna try it out here and fertilize mom's blueberry plants. I'm assuming that most people reading this, especially the RV people, will know what a macerator is. I guess you can "google" it or look it up in the dictionary. I bought a couple of "Early Girl" tomato plants and will be potting them today. Last year I ended up taking plants with me in the 5th wheel. They rode in the garage and when we parked, I put them out into the sunshine. I still had tomatoes when we were in Tombstone last October because of the warmer weather there. "Early Girl" is the best tomato and the only one my grandma would plant, so thats what I plant. I would love to plant some squash but I just can't justify putting it in a huge pot and letting it grow all over the quad and the Harley in the garage when we leave here. hahahahahahaha..........Today my brother Jim and his wife Sharon will be here to see mom for Mother's Day. My other brother John and his wife Cindy will be here too, but I'm not sure if today or tomorrow. Mom also has a good friend coming from Seattle today to visit. The house will be lively today. Dan and I will be going north to Bellingham, WA on Mother's Day to see his mom. Thats about 3 hours away from here, not including a 1/2 hour ferry boat ride. We'll spend the night and come back on Monday via Everett, WA. If you've been reading the blog you know we've been having inverter problems. The inverters come from Everett and we're gonna stop by the inverter place and take care of things in person. This will be the 4th (I think) bad inverter that has been sent to us. We'll see what happens with that. We'd really like to use our solar panels and need a good functioning inverter to make that happen.......Bonehead likes it here. She has more than enough room to roam on my mom's 1/2 acre. The road is very busy though, so we keep her in the back half. Its sure not like when I grew up here. It was country then. Now its more city. Dan is gonna get out the metal detector and play with it here. Mom still has the old garage standing at the end of the driveway and its tilted and full of treasures, like our old snow sleds. I'm sure that I might even find an old pair of stilts in there. We ALL had stilts when we were kids.........I'm also putting some pics of the gas prices on here. These pictures were taken on May 9 and 10. They'll probably get higher. Anyone coming this way be aware that the prices are awful!.............To all the moms out there........HAPPY MOM'S DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
