10 days since I've written. We've been real busy. Dan's daughter, Audrey, who got burnt in the grease fire is doing alot better. Shes now an "out patient" and is in the healing process for the skin grafts. We both think she has been very brave and shes trying to be "upbeat" about everything. She has some help at home and will need help for awhile as she is right handed and thats the bad hand and arm. With 3 kids to care for (mother of the year in our book), everyone is seeing just how much this young woman does in being mommy, wife, chief cook and bottle washer, etc. Things can only get better for her and she will heal.....We were at her house one day and little Tiffany was not happy with me or Audrey's mom, so Papa Dan came and took over and you can see in the picture what happened there. She fell instantly asleep. The grandmas failed and the Papa won. hahahahahahaha.........We've also been "Ryan sitting" for Dan's oldest daughter while she does important stuff where Ryan can't be involved. Hes a real kick to be around. I'm putting a couple of pictures of him at the "Train park". Hes too fun.........This Sunday, the 15th, we are finally taking our 5th wheel back to the place where we ordered it from. They will take care of the rest of the warranty work (we hope) so we'll "road ready" again. Not sure how long they will keep it, so I don't know how long I'll be offline. Never fear though. I'll be back and on the blog before too long.....While the 5th wheel is being fixed in Mt. Vernon, Washington we'll continue farther up north to Bellingham for more of "Dan's mom duties". She will be having one possibly two stents put in the arteries around her heart. Should only be no more than a two night stay in the hospital....Dang! We sure are busy for being retired! When we come back home again with the 5th wheel, our truck will be going to the glass doctor. We've had a crack in the windshield for the whole time we were gone in the Southwest. It finally cracked all the way, so we'll be getting a new windshield on July 25th. If its not one thing, its another for sure.....Dan finally found time to make a new place for us to store the black water hose. We were putting it in a plastic storage bin that took up too much room in the storage areas. We now have a 6" diameter PVC pipe strapped (using plumbers tape) to the under side of the rig in back of the tires. The hose fits in there and its out of the way...........Today is kinda gloomy. Quite a change from 101 degrees a couple of days ago. We really enjoyed the hot weather! It was hot in the sun, but was comfortable in the shade. Wish we would have had time to take the Harley out for a ride. We didn't. Oh sigh.....We did license the Arctic Cat so we can ride on the roads in the little towns in Arizona. Now we have to put a horn and mirror on it........We've taken the metal detector out and about on my mom's property. We've found a little bit of money, one of my brothers old and broken Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars. Not sure which cause its broke in two. Been trying to find a silver dollar that my mom says she lost and a ring that my grandpa lost a long time ago. We have great fun playing with the detector.........I'll be back on here soon. See ya then!
