Good bright and sunny Tuesday morning! I haven't been able to write for awhile and just wanted everyone who reads my blog that I am around. Just been many, many not good family things happening and we've been dealing with the situations. Dan had been staying in Seattle with his oldest daughter giving her moral support throughout a nasty divorce. I was there sometimes. Then he got a call that his youngest daughter, Audrey, was involved in a grease fire while on vacation at Lake Chelan in Eastern WA. She was being airlifted to Seattle. Seeing as Dan was right there in the Seattle area, he was able to be at the hospital when she was brought in. Her right arm was burned enough that she now has skin grafts on it. Her arm actually sizzled and cooked. She received other burns on her leg, foot, other arm, and some flash burns on her face, but they are all healing quickly. Dan practically lived at the Harborview Medical Center burn unit while she was there. I was there almost all the time. We were finally able to take her home to recover and she seems to be doing quite well. Shes gonna have a long recovery but she'll do ok. Shes a very brave young woman. We'll see her on our way north to Bellingham, WA this week. We are going there so Dan can do "mom duties". His mom is gonna have a stint put in the heart area and shes scared, so we'll be going to stay up there for a few days...........Soon we'll be able to take care of the "getting road ready" things on the 5th wheel. We still need to have the underside fixed so the back right tire doesn't rub. That will be done before the end of July. Then all we need to do to our rig is give it a real good bath. We'll be putting new brakes on the truck and getting smaller tires all the way around. I've been downsizing the 5th wheel on the days I wasn't at the hospital. You know. Getting rid of all the stuff that you thought you needed on the road, but never used. I guess the first time out you learn alot! We sure have. Dan still has to put the inverter in so we don't have to use electricity. We are hooked up to my mom's electric, but its only 15 amps. Being in her yard hasn't been so bad. A whole lot cheaper than paying to stay in a park, which Kitsap County is lacking. Bonehead has been happy here. At least when we're gone doing "mom and daughter" duties, my sister is here to take care of her. She used to be Christine's cat so she is comfortable with her and will even go for a walk with her. When we take the 5th wheel back to be fixed, we'll be taking her with us. I'll find a motel that allows animals. I'll sure be glad when its all fixed and road ready............We are just hanging around my mom's place for the July 4th. Dan bought steaks to throw on the barbie and I bought some prawns to grill. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM......Steaks, prawns, corn on the cob, and watermelon. Couldn't ask for anything better!...........Thanks for hanging in there with me. I can see by the counter on the blog that people are still reading........Everyone have a nice 4th!

I am so sorry to hear about Dan's daughters and what they are dealing with. My prayers are with them. I am so glad that you have been able to be a support system to them. I know it must mean a great deal to them. Jim has to work tomorrow, so I guess its just me and Della for most of the day. She really missed me while I was on vacation. I have been getting lots of kisses! Hope everything goes well on your 5th wheel!
God bless!
