Bonehead's Traveling People

Today is a lazy day. Not leaving home. Have dinner in the slow cooker, put the awning out to "air", (its mostly always too windy to have it out), Dan is reading maps, and Bonehead is taking her nap. A few days ago we drove to St. George, Utah to do some shopping at Costco and Albertsons. Oh, and to stop by Starbucks! Always glad to have my Starbucks latte!!!!!!!!!!! We also were out in the Sand Hollow dunes for an afternoon. The weather has been so nice without the strong winds. In the mid 80's! Yesterday we drove to Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park in Kanab, Utah. It was a short day trip. We rode out in the dunes, but rode mostly on the harder ground on the OHV trails. We found one dry wash that we followed for quite a ways. It zig-zagged the whole way until we came to a huge culvert that the paved road was going over. Dead end for us in the dry wash. That was a fun ride. Then we came across a trail that had a one way sign, so we followed that. I liked that because we didn't have to watch for other riders coming at us. It was a fun place to ride. We had gone there via hwy 59 and left there via hwy 89 and hwy 9 which took us through Zion National Park. We love going to Zion. Its sooooooooooooooooo pretty! Seen a whole herd of mountain goats in the park. That was cool. They just come down the rocks and eat right there beside the road. I suppose they are used to people cause they didn't seem to be bothered by everyone stopping to take pictures of them..........Oh! Last night Bonehead was out walking with Dan in the dark. She loves going on night walks. Dan said that she spotted a fox and gave chase. He said the fox took off. Thats too funny. Bonehead isn't very scary. We weren't afraid of her getting hurt by the fox as Dan was right there and Bonehead stays real close to him, even when "giving chase". Yesterday morning before we left she was outside for her morning walk. She was almost done with her outing and was on the other side of the 5th wheel from us when we seen a big jackrabbit come running through the brush and right by the doors on our rig. And, right in front of Bonehead. She just sat and watched him run by. Wonder what she was thinking cause I know she seen him.
