This was Bonehead's favorite spot to lay under the tree. Some of her ashes are around this spot that we made for her. We hope to come back every year to see that our little memorial to her is still here. If not, she will be with us always in our hearts...................
Today is travel day. Not very far. Only about 145 miles. It feels strange doing the beginning of a travel day without Bonehead. She had her routine too right along with us. She'd go outside for a short morning walk and hang out in the rig while I was bringing in the slides. Then she would go back outside and just kinda watch what Dan was doing. Soon as one of us would put her bed in the truck between us in the front seat, she would jump right up into the truck into her bed and wait for us to "get on the road". She will be with us today in spirit. We know shes around us. It will be a different ride today without her physically with us....................Its been so great being here with all our different friends from all walks of life and we'll sure miss everybody. It was always sad when someone left to head for home. Now its our turn and we already hear, "when will you be back?"..............We went for a nice ride yesterday to Hawgs Back. Its a sometimes steep and narrow ride along the side of a mountain. Its so pretty though and yesterday it was even prettier. After having some rain and with Winter starting to come to an end, it was alot greener out. The cactus will be blooming soon and we seen little desert flowers coming up. Yellow and purple ones. I wish I would have taken some pictures of them. There is one picture of a red flower on a bush. Don't know what it is, but red really looked different after seeing nothing but desert dull green and brown. Dan and I rode with Jim/Juanita and Ken/Reno. We ended up going by the Apache Cabin and Dripping Springs. I've written about both of these places in other entries. We both are thinking of staying through March next year so we can see the desert start to really bloom. That would be so cool.........I'll write again soon. Still on my "to do" list to put pictures of Tombstone,Willcox, and Yuma on here. If I keep saying that everytime I write, it will eventually get done.
