Bonehead's Traveling People

Hi everyone! We'll be going into Las Vegas today for Dan's NASCAR job at the race track. This will an interesting experience for him, hanging out by one of the VIP places making sure only the "important" people go past him. Hopefully he'll be able to see the race too. I'll let ya know about that one.....I think we're gonna have a windy travel day. I can hear the wind whipping around out there now. I'm not overly fond of traveling when its real windy out. I think that we only have about 80 miles to travel today though. Just a straight shot from here at Cal-Nev-Ari to the race track. Then its back to dry camping for 8 days. I sure like having full hookups sometimes. I can let the water run and run and run. Long showers. ha...........After the race we'll be going to Sam's Town Casino to stay at the rv park for 2 weeks. Don't have too much planned. Just visit with our bike pal Eric who is flying in for his birthday. We might drive out to the Valley of Fire, north east of Vegas. I don't think we'll take the Harley out to ride like we've done before as mother nature is just not making it warm enough to ride in shirt sleeves. I'm sure we'll go out and do some exploring though. We've become interested in doing the geocache thing. I'm sure that there are some around the Vegas area. I know we're gonna do this back home.................Well, we made it to the race track. It is REALLY windy out and our rig is rockin' and rollin'!!!!!!!!!!!!! And its chilly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRRRRRRRR.....We're sitting in one of the dirt parking lots with the satellite up for internet and tv and the slides still in. Hoping we will get parked in our spot today. Otherwise, because we're a day early, we'll just open the slides and stay here for the night. So, we're sitting at Las Vegas Motor Speedway watching the race from Fontana, CA. ha........If we ever get parked today in our spot, I'll be heading down the street to the Walmart to pick up some groceries. Oh, I just heard "gentleman! start your engines"!!!!!!!!! Guess I'll go watch the race for awhile.
