NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!! We DID NOT get another pet. This dog half way belongs to my sister. Her name is Sammi and shes a really neat dog. Her owners are kinda letting her stay here but can't seem to get it through their 3 year old's head that she would be much happier here then with them. Shes locked up most of the time at their house and she shys away from the kid. She has lots of freedom to roam out in the yard, gets lots of pets from everyone, gets to play "fetch the ball" when she wants, and she loves my sister. Yes. My sister Christine that had to give up Miss Bonehead at a time when she couldn't keep her for reasons beyond her control. She can now keep a pet and give Sammi all the love that she needs. I enjoy playing with her. We WILL not be taking her with us when we leave. She loves Christine and will stay here. Anyway, heres a couple pictures of her. I had set my latte down while I was taking a picture of her and she had her face in it before I could stop her, so I guess I was sharing my vanilla latte with her. She sure did lap it up!
....FINALLY! We're having some nice weather. Nice enough that it felt good to take the Harley out for the afternoon. Along with going for a ride around Kitsap County, we stopped by the local Harley shop to check out the beginning of the Washington State HOG Rally(Harley Owners Group).
We don't belong to a local bike chapter anymore, but Dan is a lifetime member of HOG. It was only the beginning of the rally so we didn't see too many people there. We did have a nice ride. Didn't have to wear coats which is a good thing. We love riding in light long sleeve shirts or t-shirts. Our bike is the first one on the left.
.......Dan took my great-nephew, Caleb, for a ride on the bike. He LOVED it! They were gone for about 1/2 hour and even seen a deer. He was excited about that. I bet next time he comes over he'll be bringing tennis shoes and long pants
Christine has been playing around on the quad riding it around mom's yard.
The rest of our time has been trying to figure out what is wrong with our computer. It seems to be burping alot lately even after bringing it back from the computer doc several days ago. Just might have to take it back in again cause he said we had 30 days to bring it back in if anything else went wrong. We have now aquired a laptop so at least we'll always be online one way or another. Having the laptop will be neat when we're out in the desert and I wanna sit outside and chill in the sunshine. hahaha..Hows that a play on words?????!!!!!!
Sometimes its hard to sit inside at the pc when its so nice outside in the desert.......Not too much else happening except for us enjoying the nicer weather. And my tomato plants love it! Maybe they'll actually start to grow!......One more thing I want to say is that on the right side of my blog there is a list of web-sites. When you have time check out Gordon's Blog. Him and his wife Juanita are on an all summer adventure in Alaska. You'd love reading about their adventures and looking at the neat pictures they've put in their blog.
