Dan had the quad out for awhile one day and I snapped a few pictures of great-nephew Caleb riding on it. The baby is his sister Grace. We had to get her in on the action too. We also had a small BBQ that day. Caleb's mom was here and Charlotte and her hubby Craig came. Charlotte and I used to work together at Naval Submarine Base Bangor here close to home. My sister Christine and I went to Ocean Shores, WA over the weekend. We went with our cousins Lynn and Janis and Janis' friend, Tanya. We left on Sunday and came back on Tuesday. It was fun fun fun. Lynn's brother Greg and his wife Jan have a 2 bedroom vacation house that we all stayed in. The weather was half way decent too. No rain! We went to the beach, to a museum, to a few stores, and to some bars to shoot pool and play darts. The second night there we all closed up Cadillac Jacks Lounge, a karaoke bar. We all had a great time there. Christine got up and sang twice. Lynn tried to make Kasey Kahne, our favorite NASCAR driver, come to life! Cute picture. Christine accidentally locked her keys in her jeep. AAA could not find anyone to send out to unlock it. Ocean Shores is not too close to any big town. Lynn and Janis went to the fire station and borrowed a "jimmi" to slide down the door to "catch" the lock and unlock the door. Some nice guy from the bar came outside and used this tool and eventually opened the door for her. WOOHOO for the bar guy! The second time we went out to the beach, Christine tried to fly her kite. Its always windy at the beach but this day there wasn't any wind. Needless to say, the kite stayed on the ground. The two pictures look like shes trying to "coax" the kite to fly. hahaha. It was fun going but it was also nice to get back home. While I was gone Dan got new info on our rig. Things are finally coming together. Soon we'll have a date to take our 5th wheel to a place in Oregon and get all the warranty work FINALLY done. Then Dan and I will be on our way back to the southwest until next summer.
