Tuesday, 10/07, I packed us a picnic lunch we went back out to play in the dunes again. We did about 35 miles on the beach and in the sand dunes. It was such a nice day. No rain, no wind, just bright and warm sunshine with a slight chill in the air. I think we were out riding for about 4 hours. When we got back to our rig, I just happened to check my cell phone and I seen that my brother Jim had called. I knew that him and his wife Sharon were gonna be coming down the Oregon Coast but I guess I just spaced it out about when they would show up. They were only about 70 miles up the coast from us so they ended up parking their van by our rig and spent the night with us at the KOA. I made everyone dinner and we had a nice visit.......Wednesday, 10/08, was travel day. We moved down south of Bandon, Oregon a few miles to an RV park that we stayed at last April. Robin's Nest RV Park. We really like this little park and recommend it to anyone passing through Bandon. Jim and Sharon followed us here, had lunch, then continued on their trip to the California RedwoodsDan,Jim,Sharon Jim and Dan We got all set up then headed to see our friends here in Bandon. Kittie and Bruce. We've done alot of stuff with them and they are great friends. We met Kittie's cousin, Christine from Dalles(hubby Chris to show up tomorrow),who is visiting them and later other friends, Dick and Jan, showed up at Kittie and Bruce's house. Dick and Jan brought their friends, Bob and Clelia, with them. They are all from Angels Camp,CA and come up here to Oregon to go crabbing, play, and relax. (On our way home last April from Las Vegas, we stopped in Angels Camp to visit with Dick and Jan). We had a really good visit with everyone. This group of people are too funny. Lots of laughing and joking happening. We eventually all went our seperate ways and will be meeting back up again for dinner at Kittie and Bruce's house..........Friday, 10/10. Today we all gathered together for a VERY nice dinner. Bruce had tri-tip steak on the BBQ all day and it was oh soooooooooooooo yummy! Everything was just fantastic! I made my "famous"(or, so everyone says) fudge(just for Jan) and made rat-tails. Seeing as Kittie doesn't like calling them rat-tails, Chris named them "ra-ta-tolies". Sounds nicer then rat-tails. hahahahahahaMy contribution to dinner. "Ra-ta-tolies", aka, rat-tails and fudge Clelia,Dick,& Dan cracking up Bob and Clelia from Angels Camp, CA Cousins Kittie and Christine Jan,Clelia,Christine listening to Kittie pound out a song on her piano Christine and Chris Bruce and Dick Our beautiful dinner table Deer right outside the kitchen window This is Kittie dancing with a doorknob. She told us that when she was young the boys would never dance with the girls, so the girls danced with doorknobs. I thought this was too funny. She was dancing with this doorknob just like it was her favorite dance partener. Who needed a male partener when you had a doorknob?????????? hahahahahahahaha We all had an absolute blast. I never laughed so hard as when Jan was telling her "before I met Dick" stories. She is hilarious! Everyone we meet through Kittie and Bruce are the most wonderful people. And so far we've been lucky enough to see most everyone again.
