I am sitting here playing on the computer for awhile this morning while drinking my homemade Starbucks latte. YUM!!!!!! I'm listening to Christmas music from the internet. You can go to this website and listen too. http://www.web-radio.fm/christmas Click on Holiday Music. Today I'll be making more nanner bread as my bananas REALLY need to be used. I've already made nanner bread and mailed it home and I'm about "banana bread'ed out", but I can't let them go to waste and its an easy thing to make. Oh, crud. I just thought that I need applesauce for my recipe and Dan ate the rest of it, so I guess its a trip into town for me today. Maybe I'll just bundle up and ride the quad in......Dan had to stand in the long post office line yesterday. What a joke that is. It was a VERY long line and we didn't even get what we have been waiting for. I know that a few people read my blog that are camped here in Quartzsite right now and they have probably been in the same long line waiting and waiting and maybe have experienced the "sharp tongue" of the older post mistress there. We can sure tell that not as many people are here in the "Q" as last year because the General Delivery hasn't been moved out to the other building. Oh well, and so retired life goes on. I'll be back in the General Delivery line this Wednesday checking again looking for not only what we haven't gotten yet, but also picking up one more new thing.............Other then baking and doing normal everyday chores, life has been rather slow since I last wrote. Just "waiting out" the colder weather and being very happy when the clouds clear so the sun can hit our solar panels........Christmas dinner is still planned to be outside, buffet style, but we just might all have to crowd into Jim and Carol's rig like we did a couple year ago for Thanksgiving. The forecast calls for some rain and wind. The wind is the problem. It gets VERY out here in the desert sometimes.........See ya all later. Its off to town I go for applesauce.
