Friday, 5/2.........It rained and rained and rained. We hung out at home until we headed to Kittie and Bruce's place for dinner. We found one geocache on the way at a Les Schwab in North Bend. Seeing as Jason works at Les Schwab, he wasn't too impressed. hahahahahahaha........Had a great dinner with our pals, had some fun conversation, then came back home. Steaks off the barbie, , green salad, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes/gravy, bread you could dip in oil/balsamic vinegar, banana cream pie and lemon meringue pie. YUM!!!!! What a dinner! Thank you Kittie and Bruce! You two are great.
Saturday, 5/3.....We didn't go out riding again because of the weather. Why deliberately go out in the rain if you don't have too??? We had to change spaces here in the RV park because I had made two different reservations so we could stay longer. That was ok. It didn't take long except we were moving in the rain and got wet. We stayed home today just hanging out and watching tv. Kittie and Bruce came for Jason's famous meatballs.
Another good dinner. Cheese meatballs, more mashed potatoes/gravy, more green beans and corn, rolls, fresh watermelon and pineapple, and strawberry shortcake. Yummy, yummy, yummy! No one can ever say that we don't eat most excellent meals when we are sharing with other people. Not that we don't eat good meals just me and Dan, but with other people it always seems to be different. I love Jason's meatballs and hadn't eaten them since he was in his late teens. Hes 34 now. Thats a long time to wait for his meatballs. Maybe this summer when we're at home he'll come over and make them again for us, his grandma, and his Aunt Christine.......The people sure are coming into the RV park today. Its filling right up. The rain isn't stopping people from going out riding the dunes and beach.......Sunday, 5/4.....Jason left this morning. Time to head home as he has to get back to work. That dreaded four letter word. I think he had a good time being here with us. We sure like having him here. It was very different for me as Jason and I hadn't spent time together in the same space since he was about 18 years old. I love having him around, so it was all good....Some of the people that were here for a long weekend, are leaving today. Bye! See ya! hahahahaha....The park will be a little emptier and quieter. Works for us.
