Monday, 6/1........Since Dan's birthday we've been starting to take care of our "to do" list. We've ordered a new kitchen faucet, Dan caulked a bad spot on the roof around one of the solar panels, he washed and cleaned all the fantastic fans from up on the roof, and we ordered new tires for the quad. It was time. I love the tires we got. They are way different from what we have on now. I'm sure we'll get alot of miles on these babies. Dan also took the quad out of the garage and pressure washed it. I have the saddle bags and will be cleaning them and getting one of the zippers fixed. I was able to clean out the garage while Dan had the quad out. We actually accomplished alot. Next Dan will be changing the oil in the quad and hes gotta go pick up his hearing aids at Costco. He had them repaired. I'm sure glad hes getting them both back. I won't have to talk loud anymore. hahahaha........Its been soooooooooooooooooooooo nice outside. We are actually having a heat wave, record breaking I'm thinking. Christine's garden is really starting to grow. Woohoo for fresh veggies! Dan and I just love it! We went to Gabe and Caleb's last t-ball game too. All the pictures I got were Dan, Caleb, and Gabe playing on the bars. "Hanging out". Then batteries went dead in my camera, so no more pictures. Next week is the parent's game against the kids so you can be sure that my camera batteries will be charged up and ready. I wanna see my sister and niece run around the bases. lol lol lol.......Thursday, 6/4.....We picked up the new tires for the quad today. They are so cool. They will soon be on the quad. Took a couple of pictures, not good ones though. When Dan gets ready to have them mounted, I'll take some better "before/after" tire pictures. We also went to Costco and picked up his hearing aids. Woohoo for hearing aids!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dan is outside washing the truck right now. Guess it was bath time and he wanted it clean for our trip to Cle Elum, WA this weekend for a "most of Dan's kids, grands, and his mom" family bbq. Should be fun. I gotta make some pasta salad and nanner bread to take with us. YUM!.......It was over 90 today. Nice, nice, nice..........Well, today is overcast and grey. I guess the sun will decide to make an appearance again soon. Guess I'll get my stuff made for this weekend. See you all next week sometime!............Tuesday, 6/9...We are baaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Here is a little of what happened during the weekend. Saturday, 6/6.…………Today we started out early. It was grey and overcast and, we think, cold. First place we headed was to Starbucks. Gotta have my caffeine for the day. I bought two lattes. Headed out to Maple Valley to pick up Dan’s mom, Mary. Today is the day we’re heading to Cle Elum, WA where Dan’s son Andrew lives with his wife, Tia. Cle Elum is in Eastern Washington. It rained on us a little bit and the weather looked like it might be half way good, but when we got to Andrew’s place, it was SOOOOOOOOOO windy and cold outside, that most of us didn’t go outside at all. Andrew bbq'ed in his garage with the garage door open. That worked. Out of the cold wind. We had pork ribs and they sure were good. What a change from weather in the 90’s. Well, ya deal with what mUther nature dishes out and that’s just the way it is. We had a lot of good food and good company. The day was ok. A lot of the people who were here have now gone home and, us that are left which is Dan’s family, are all watching A Night At The Museum. Its been a long, long day. Here are a few pics of Dan's kids, mom, and grands during the day. Sunday, 6/7 Audrey and family left early as she had to work. Oh sigh. That 4 letter word, WORK! Dan, I, and his mom left about 11am. We headed back over towards Mary's place. Here are a few scenery pics taken from the back seat of the truck. Decided to stop by a new casino, Snoqualmie Casino. It was a nice place. She had a blast playing the penny machines for awhile. And, talk about a small world. We seen friends in the casino that we hadn't seen in about a year. That was cool. We also found a geocache on the way to her place. After we dropped her off, we headed back home. Always glad to get back home......Monday, 6/8...Dan did some work on the quad today. He was looking for an oil leak. Hes still in the process of doing that. We all went to the last t-ball game for Caleb and Gabe. It was the little kids against the parents. Here is niece Mindy playing against Caleb. Here is grammy Christine playing against Gabe. I think they had a blast. Christine power walked around the bases. I think both boys loved them out there playing against them. Uncle Dan played with Grace so Mindy could play ball. When we got home Jason was there, so he joined us for hamburgers and hot dogs and so did Mindy and family. It was a most excellent day!!!!!!!!!!! Last is my flower pictures. Enjoy!
