Things sure do change fast. Dan's son, Andrew and wife Tia, are moving to Tarpon Springs, Florida. We are gonna go to Cle Elum where they live and help them pack and get ready for the move, then come back to my mom's yard to our parking spot. Andrew will be following us back, and Dan will go back to Cle Elum with him. I'll be staying here in Bremerton. Dan is gonna share in the driving of a u-haul and Andrew's diesel dodge. All the way from WA to FL. That should be quite the adventure. Not knowing when we'll see Andrew again, this will give them some "father and son" time. They figure it will take 5 or 6 days to get there, leaving on 7/6. Then Dan will be flying back to Seattle on 7/17 via Air Trans. Never heard of that airline so I had to look them up. This is one of the airlines that charges for "checked" luggage. Dan will only have a carry on. I noticed that they also charge if you call their toll-free number to make a reservation. GEEEEZZZZZ, why all the charges? The airlines are expensive enough for the normal working/or retired person as it is!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess Dan will see what kind of flying experience he has on this airline....Sunday,7/28, Dan did a few things on the 5th wheel today, as in "getting road ready" for our short trip to Cle Elum and back. I'll start to secure everything inside tomorrow. Jason came over today and made us his famous meatballs. YUM!!!!!!! They were SOOOOOO good! We also had potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob, fresh bread right out of the bread machine,(I cheat at making bread), watermelon, and sliced cucumbers. He came in all banged up and hurting. He'd been out riding his quad and had an "accident". Not exactly sure how it happened, but his 500 pound quad ended up on him as he was laying on his left side. Christine "doctored" his arm where he scraped it and he ended up with quite the puncture wound in his elbow. Hes gonna be sore tomorrow! Not much else happening. I'll write again after we get all set up in Cle Elum.....Tuesday,7/30, we are now in Cle Elum at Andrew and Tia's place. We had an easy ride over here, got all set up, and then helped Tia pack some stuff. Yesterday my sister was not feeling too well and was running a low grade fever. I could tell that she didn't feel good. Well, today she went to the doc and she ended back in the ER again. The E.coli showed back up in her blood again. She is now spending the night in the hospital with an IV antibiotic drip and a 101.5 fever. I guess the docs needed to keep her on the same antibiotic that she had in the hospital instead of putting her on a different one. Oh sigh. Anyway, she sounded chipper tonight. I hope this time the docs get rid of the E.coli in her body before she comes back home.........I took a few scenery pictures while we were driving up through the Cascades to Snoqualmie Pass. Its pretty but I sure do miss the desert! Wednesday, 7/1........What a nice day it is! We've finally found some hot weather. And no wind today! Christine is still in the hospital. Hoping the docs are doing their job to make her well again. I'll see her Sunday when Dan take me and the 5th wheel back to Bremerton.
