Bonehead's Traveling People

I have my new camera now. WOOHOO! I sure did miss not having one for a couple of weeks. I put the smart card from my old camera into the new one and found the last few pics that I had taken before it completely died. Here they are. Dan and I were coming home from town on the quad and collecting boards along the way for firewood. People leave their wood from last season and we go pick it up. Dan picked up a board and this little rattler was near by under another board. I could hear it "hissssss". He was not a happy camper with Dan disturbing his home. We took what we wanted and Dan covered him back up. I'm sure he was glad when we drove away. From now on we'll be using a long stick when having a campfire at night when putting wood on the fire. Ya never know what will be under the wood. I love both these pictures of the hummingbird. My old camera was just about dead when I took these, so I'm lucky that I captured him in pictures when I was sitting so close to the feeder. He wasn't shy about coming close to me. Here is Sonja and Kathy getting ready go on a ride with us. Now to put the camera to rest until I can get to a big city with decent camera repair shops to see if its worth saving. _____________________________ So, while waiting for my new camera to arrive, we've gone out on the quad a couple of times, driven to Blythe for groceries and to order my new sun glasses for distance, and hung out with Deb and Russ at their place. Debbie is back into making jewelry and made me a bracelet and earrings as I sat and watched her. Cool. I had taken them both alot of jewelry making stuff that had belonged to a friend of ours that had passed away. He left me with alot of stuff. Heres a few pictures taken with my new camera. Still trying to get the camera the way I want it with the preferences and options. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO glad to be taking pictures again!
