Dan and I have seen some meteors. Cool. Not that many though as we don't wanna be outside at night when its cold. Too bad we don't have some balmy nights so we can go out and lay on our backs and just watch the sky. How cool would that be? Oh well. I'm just glad we've been seeing some.Oh. Last night when I went outside alone to watch the skies, the coyotes were making a big ruckus. Normally they are pretty quiet so I'm thinking that either one of them had got hit by a vehicle out on Hwy 95 or that they made themselves a big kill and were all very happy about it. They were noisy!........Kathy and I went for a short quad ride one afternoon and it was warm. I had to stand in the post office line to mail something, then we went and scouted out two spots to place a couple of geocaches. We'll be working on hiding both of them in the next couple of weeks or so.......Debbie and Rusty came over for a slow cooked roast dinner. It was most yummy. Deb and I ordered some jewelry making stuff off the internet and did some "bracelet building" for awhile. We ended up sitting outside around a campfire for awhile. My geoching pal Kathy walked over to the fire to sit with us. Just a real nice day. Oh, and we got a box in the mail. A Christmas box. Woohoo! Stuff from our pal Michelle in New Mexico. She spoils Dan with cinnamon suckers and home made cinnamon candy. When he gets this stuff in the mail, hes like a little kid. "THANKS MICHELLE"....Thats from Dan the man........Me, Dan, and Kathy took a quad ride here recently to go geocaching. We went 40 miles through the mountains and thats a long way on the quad when you're climbing and only going 10 mph! It was a great ride, as always. On the way back home we followed I-10 along the pipeline road. Traffic was backed up for a long ways eastbound. I guess there was a big wreck. We estimate that the freeway was backed up for about 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Glad I wasn't in that line of vehicles! Heres a few pictures of our adventure. I have all my fudge made for Christmas and New Years. WOOHOO for lots of homemade fudge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
