We had a "Quartzsite storm". Seen it coming, it passed over us dumping lots of water, lots of thunder and lightening, then we watched it head East. Check out the pictures I took. I had just come back from doing laundry and the ground was dry. About 5 minutes after I got back, the ground had standing water, lots of puddles, and the dry wash by our rig had running water. Looked like a small river. Unreal how fast things happen here in the desert. We drove south to Yuma after we did the "storm watching". Went to Sam's Club, ate at Red Lobster, and will spend the night at Day's Inn. Dan has a 9am dental appointment in Mexico to get both his partials aligned. Soon as that is done, we'll head back home. Really don't like going into Mexico, but Dan needs to do all the follow up on his teeth, so we gotta go. In my opinion, walking over the border is like walking into a different world and it makes me feel VERY uncomfortable. We didn't have to wait in a line to get out of Mexico. That was a plus. Usually we have to stand in a hour to hour and a half line to get back across the border......I have one more picture I wanted to put on here. I was sitting at my computer early in the morning several days ago and watching a very pretty sunrise. Here is a picture I took looking out the window to where our cat Bonehead had spent alot of time under her favorite tree. Just a pretty, peaceful picture.
