Bonehead's Traveling People

Yes, indeed, I'm still here. The last few days before 12/07 have just been everyday life. Got all my Christmas cards/postcards ready to mail. Have made some sugar-free fudge and regular fudge. I'm not sure about the sugar-free fudge cause it made the chocolate taste like dark chocolate and I don't like dark chocolate. I had to try making it though as I'd never seen sugar-free chocolate chips.....All day today, Monday 12/07, we've had a small amount of rain today with some wind. Not a bad thing. Mother Nature can just get it out of her system and go back to clear skies. We only went out long enough to get water and gas for the generator....Ok, its still Monday and old Mommy Nature has changed the little bit of rain and wind into a STORM!!!!! And, Holy crap what a storm it is!!!!!!!!!!!! Its now 8:46 pm and it seems to be coming at us full force from the West. Its not only WINDY with THUNDER and the LIGHTNING putting on a good light show, it HAILED and now its RAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything is in capitol letters because that how HUGE this stupid storm seems when you're sitting in a 40' 5th wheel and its rocking and rolling and the wind is hitting it and hitting it and hitting it! We lost the internet a couple of hours ago but have managed to keep tv. So, I've been writing in notepad and will do the copy/paste thing. Sure am glad that I thought ahead to take my dangly things off the front of the 5th wheel so they wouldn't break or blow away. And I had already stowed the lawn (hahahahaha, I mean, desert sand/dirt) chairs under our rig. Actually the lightning was pretty cool as it lit up the whole sky. Sure wish I could have tried to take some pictures of it. I was gonna try and take some pictures of the hail, looking out the door using the porch light. That sure didn't work. Dan tried to open the door and with the wind pushing at us from the West, it was impossible to try and take a picture. Our doors open to the west. Oh well. Anyway, thats our life in the desert during a storm. Now today, Tuesday 12/08, is a little windy with clear, blue skies. Just like we never had a storm at all. Mother Nature is VERY fickle!!!!!!!!!!!
