My Canadian pal, Kathy, now owns her own quad. WOOHOO! Its a red Honda and I can tell that she just loves it.

1/13 was the annual quad parade. I'm not sure how many quads were in the parade, but I'm guessing about 150. Lots of people decorate their quads..

Canadian pal, Sonja, won second place. We didn't decorate our quad. I guess we were the decoration! hahahaha.Check out the pictures of the parade and Sonja and her trophy.

Riding in the parade is always fun. This was our third time in the parade......1/14 Valentines Day. Us and the Canadians all went for a nice quad ride. Dan/I/Kathy/Sonja had been to this place before. There was something for everyone here. Canadian Jim, Dan, and Sonja took their metal detectors. Dan came back with a small plastic bag of sand from the dry wash. He'll sift through it later. Not sure what Kathy and Jim found. Don't think Sonja found anything with her metal detector, but she picked up rocks and crystals.

After we got done in that dry wash, we headed to the Deere Run B&B. Just a place that someone set up for the enjoyment of people riding their quads and 4 wheel drive rigs out in the desert. I've written about it here in the blog before a few entries back. Last time we were there the American flag looked VERY sad, so we decided to put up a new one and have the old one retired properly. Dan and I felt good about doing this.

Also since we were there, someone put in a putting green. Of course Dan had to try it.

Its a fun place for a picnic or just a butt break. We'll be coming back to this place again soon...........2/15..HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMMY!!!!!
