Here is Dan the man sitting at the PC "farming" on Facebook. Saturday, 4/17.........Well, Russ and Deb didn't end up with bees in their rig. Thank goodness. We all think that the bees were en route to somewhere else and just stopped by for the late afternoon and night. They are no where to be found and have moved on. Dan and I went for a quad ride today. The weather was most excellent today. Almost 93. We headed back out on the last ride we had taken before we spent the week up in Bouse. When we were on that ride, Dan had lost his reader glasses, case, and pen. Ok. We thought we'd try and retrace our steps and guess what? We found his glasses, case, and pen! We think he had lay them on the front of the quad and forgot about it. They fell off and the back tire ran over the case with the glasses. His pen was inside the glasses case. The glass was broken and the frames aren't good anymore, but he liked his case and pen and I'm glad we found them. I thought it was gonna be like looking for a needle in a haystack!....Wednesday, 4/21...........The last couple of days have been WINDY! Last night after Dan watched "Lost", we stowed the satellite dish and it will stay stowed until the wind decides to quit. We just can't see fighting the wind all the time. We can't get tv but we are using Debbie's wifi so we can play on the computers. Works for me! Dan and I are headed to Blythe, CA on Thursday, 4/22 and by time we get back we should be able to bring the dish back up for internet and tv. Then get back to normal life, like riding the quad. Its no fun to ride in the wind. Our pals Deb and Russ were over here tonight bringing leftovers from last night's dinner. Yummy hobo stew. We sure do love that. Then a couple of games of dice. Good food, good company, good fun. We both like camping here by the Catholic Mission and being able to see our friends everyday. Its been a blast.........Got our shopping done in Blythe. Dan had to buy two batteries for the truck. I guess it was time. Thank goodness there was an auto parts store in Blythe. Its not a very big town. The wind has also finally died down and our satellite dish is back up and working. And, big AND, the weather has been in the high 80's/low to mid 90's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll see how long that last. Love that hot weather!. I took Debbie and Rusty out for some geocaching. The ones close by and my cache that we needed the truck to access. I think they like it as I was watching them have a good time..........Saturday, 4/24....Dan and I went out on the quad. Headed west looking for a geocache we hadn't found yet. We found the cache, rode some new quad trails, seen new scenery, and found some old and abandon mines. It was a good ride. Came back home a little more tanned and sunburned. Heres some pictures that I took. The first two are real strange. Looks like mother nature is trying to camouflage something. I bet there are alot of bugs and snakes and lizards and birds under all that. We sure weren't curious enough to look! This was at one of the old mines we found. Some miner placed the pick and axe on the hillside using white quartz. A good view of Quartzsite when coming back from our ride.
