Monday, 4/12.......We are now back in Quartzsite for about a month. Its nice to be back in the "Q". Feels like our second home. We will be parked beside the Catholic Mission where pals Debbie and Rusty are caretakers. Heres a couple of pictures of our rig parked by the Mission.
And here are some of the pretty flowers that are planted around the church.
Tuesday, 4/13.......Went out on the quad today for a short ride. It was so nice out and it was suntan/sunburn weather. Love it! As we were heading out on our ride, right in the middle of the gravel road (we weren't on a quad trail yet) we came across a 3 to 3 1/2 foot rattlesnake. Dan almost ran him over as he kind of blended into the gravel. We did a circle around him, not too close, and I took some pictures of him. He sure was watching us as he was slithering away off the road and back into the desert.
And, of course, here are scenery pictures from today's ride.
I sure didn't feel like cooking, so we headed to Love's Truck Stop and got Subway sandwiches. Yummy!!.....Thursday, 4/15..Today is our pal Rusty's birthday. On tax day no less! I made him a meatloaf dinner. He and Debbie had seconds so it must have been eatable. lol lol lol...Nice dinner with friends and then a game of dice. Oh! Russ and Deb discovered bees trying to make a nest inside their rig. They are spending the night with friends and the bee man will be coming to take care of the intruders.
