Bonehead's Traveling People

Thursday, 4/8...We drove to Quartzsite to Debbie and Rusty's place for a day of jewelry making, potluck, and dice. Dan took the laptop so he could "farm" on Facebook. lol lol lol. Pals Susan and her mom Vivian are leaving, going back home to Alberta, so we had a "going away" potluck. It was fun. They are neat people. Other pals Sandy and Royal were also there. Nice group of people.....Friday, 4/9...We went out quad riding. It was suntan weather! Hot! We love it! We've been out exploring the Bouse area. Checking out places to stay for a couple of weeks during and around New Years. Its different from Quartzsite. Not all the quartz laying around in abundance and we haven't found any crystal. Lots of mines though but we can't figure out what people were trying to mine. The rock is black, black, black. Guess I'll have to do some research to find out. I've taken some flower pics and a couple of neat cactus pics. The purple flowers smelled really good and were very delicate looking. One of the cactus is on a quartz hill. We were please to find these few hills with quartz. The other one has lots and lots of appendages! Is a cool looking cactus. These flower pictures came from someone's yard. I couldn't pass by without taking some pictures.
