Thursday, 5/27. After our stay in the truck stop we ventured up washboard I-5. I'm almost sure that Gov Arnold doesn't like riding his Harley on I-5. What a bumpy ride! We stopped for the night at Rolling Hills Casino in Corning, CA. We've stayed here before because its close to the Olive Pit. We like going there to buy balsamic vinegar and other stuff. We had a great buffet dinner in the casino. Woke up the next morning and headed to Redding, CA. We only spent one night in Redding and most of the day was spent with Dan putting in new plumbing stuff in the shower and kitchen. Stuff that had to be taken care of or we wouldn't have had showers or clean dishes. Then we met friends, Jean/Ron and Jerome for dinner. It was actually a rather busy day. Its always hard to find your way around a new place, but Ron told us where to go get our parts. Sorry Jerry and Pat that we didn't have time to see you guys. It was like we were in and out. Off we went the next morning for our next stop. Now we are in the Medford, Oregon KOA for two nights. We drove into Medford so Dan could buy a new windshield wiper for the truck and fuel up. Other then going to Medford, we've been hanging out at home. Here are some pictures that I've taken along the way.
