Bonehead's Traveling People

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE in New Mexico ________________________________ Sunday, 11/7.......Last night we had an "impromptu" weenie roast over a nice campfire with all four of our Canadian friends. Kathy/Jim and Ken/Diane. We were sitting around the campfire minding our own business, just chatting away, when we heard a plastic bag making "rattling plastic" noises. Dan and Ken were lucky enough to see a fox stealing a bag of marshmallows. Kathy's marshmallows. The rest of us didn't see him do it. Oh sigh. I would have liked to get a picture of him. Now, this fox was very close to us. he came right up onto our outdoor mat and "borrowed" the marshmallows that were sitting near the picnic table. Guess he thought he was getting a real treasure. This morning I walked out across the dry wash from our rig and found the top of the bag with the twisty tie still twisted on tight and a couple of pieces of plastic. Couldn't find anything else. He must have ran off with the rest of the bag somewhere. I might go out on the quad and see if I can spot some more plastic or marshmallows that he didn't eat..........Not much going on today. I rode the quad into town to pick up some bread and say hi to friend Debbie and Russ. Having a nice lazy day.
