We've been busy with my sons. The first day they were both here we had a big storm. Black, black clouds and lots of rain. Me and the boys went out on the quads in the morning and by early afternoon we were driving back in the rain. Thank goodness it wasn't raining very hard yet. So we went back out in the truck and we could see the heavy rain coming towards us. It POURED! At least the weather didn't make our satellite dish burp. The day after the storm was bright, sunny, and warm. Me, Dan, Michael, Jason, and our neighbors Ken and Kathy all went out quad riding. There are lots of things to see in the Quartzsite area if you have a quad or a 4 wheel drive. We went to some stone miner's cabins, the Spanish Wall, and Dripping Springs. It was a great ride. Its really different having both my grown adult sons in our rig. The day after that Michael and I went to run errands, drive to the store in Blythe, and did laundry. Dan and Jason went quad riding with Ken. Michael's friend Errol from a long time ago, back when they were in school, came to stay the night and spend Christmas with us. He lives in the Phoenix area. They were out in the dry wash by our rig trying to find treasures.
We had a great Christmas dinner buffet outside with all our pals that live near us. Lots of good food. I love it that we can eat outside in the middle of Winter.
