Today is chore day. Gas/propane/water and the poop people are coming to dump our black/grey water. Thats always a good thing. Its been windy windy windy here. Getting a little warmer during the day, mostly in the late afternoon. But we're still using the portable propane heater at night, keeping it on a low setting to keep the chill out of our rig. BRRRRRRRRR. Dan has installed two more solar panels on top of our rig so we don't have to buy as much gas for the generator and we're pretty happy about that. Now we have four of them on top. Now I only fire up the generator in the morning so I can use the microwave a couple of times. So far we haven't had to use the gen at night when watching tv. Thats a good thing as before we were using the generator about 2 to 4 hours so we could watch tv and charge things up. When we had our little freezer still plugged in, we used the gen for a solid 4 hours every night to keep our food frozen. That takes alot of gas. Having two more panels will pay for themselves in about 4 months. Cool. We figured getting the panels was worth the investment seeing as we mostly dry camp and only use RV parks when we're traveling. Anyway, thats the solar panel story for this month. Next month in March we'll be getting the other two panels that are available to us and we'll be done buying solar panels..........The poop ladies just left and we now have empty black/grey water tanks. We are happy dry campers today. LOL LOL LOL. Now its off to town to get propane and water and gas. This time the gas last us much longer. We'll use only a little bit for the generator and the rest will be used for our quad. Its nice to have a gas tank built into the back of our rig by the garage. Real nice to be able to fill up the quad's gas tank right from our rig. Whew! Hope I explained that all ok. I know what I wanna say in my brain, but sometimes it comes out not making very much sense on "paper". LOL LOL.....Just another day in the desert. Oh, I should take a picture of our rig with 4 solar panels on top. I'll remember to do that today and put the picture on here soon............Hi to all our kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you!!!!!!!
