Bonehead's Traveling People

We left Las Vegas and the race track on March 8th. Dan worked hard and I think he enjoyed most of it. We headed for Laughlin, Nevada for some R&R. Dan's needing some chill time. We're at the AVI Casino which happens to have a KOA RV Park here. So, we get full hookups for several days before going back to our "spot" in Quartzsite out in the desert. We went to check out the casino, store, pool, places to eat in the casino, etc. We ate dinner one night at an Italian place. Not bad. If ya wanna read about where we are, go to www.avicasino.com. I asked the guy who gave us our players card what AVI meant. It means "wealth" for the Mojave Indians. Interesting.....Its not a bad place so far.............It was REAL windy when we got here. It finally went away. Thank you mother nature........On March 11th we drove into Laughlin, about 12 miles away from this casino, and went to a movie at the Riverside Casino. We seen "Battle, Los Angeles". Good thing we get a senior rate for the movies. It was ok but not ok. We seen the advertisements for it on tv and after seeing it, I wouldn't go out and buy the DVD. After the movie we walked over to the Aquarius Casino and ate at their most excellent seafood buffet.....We left the KOA on 3/12 and are now back in Quartzsite until I don't know when. Called our friend Debbie and invited her to dinner and she brought our box of mail to us. That was about a months worth of mail! Its nice and warm here. Finally some WARMTH! Suppose to be 88. Today we are gonna go pick up our last two solar panels. Dan will eventually put them on top of our rig so we'll have a total of 6. Ahhhhh, we love life in the desert.
