We've pretty much kept a low profile since we got the cat. She goes in the truck with us when we go into Quartzsite for propane/water/gas and shes doing good so far. We drove north 32 miles to the Parker Walmart and left her at home. First time shes been alone for more then an hour. She didn't destroy our rig. LOL LOL. Ya never know what would have happened. If we wanna go to Walmart, the one in Parker is the closest. We don't go there too often, but they have a better selection of cat food and we bought groceries. And I can go across the street to Safeway and hit the Starbucks. We'll be leaving the Quartzsite area in about a month, so she'll have new places to explore..................We are so enjoying having Bella in our lives. She is so active and keeps us on our toes. Shes learning how to "work" us and its fun watching her try. So far she loves going outside with us. Dan takes her on walks and she exploring everything. Shes getting better about staying along side Dan for longer periods of time. I know I'll probably be repeating myself talking about her but its all about the brain remembering and not having to go back and read previous posts.

Wonder if she'll be interested in riding on the quad? Wouldn't that be something? She hasn't heard it start up yet but she doesn't seem to be afraid of anything so far except for the sound of the generator the first time she heard it. Shes fine now. She just might go for a short ride with Dan as he holds her in his arms. That will be a Kodak moment I'll be sure to catch! We've had some very hot days and Bella and the heat didn't get along so good. I fixed her an ice pack, wrapped a pillow case around it and she discovered this neat little package real quick. She lay on top of it, beside it, and wrapped around it. When she wasn't hot anymore, she move away from it. I've made her three ice packs so you know when the ice starts melting everything is wet. Only three ice puddles to dry. This how she is when not being over heated. On the go! She does stay with Dan, but if she sees me coming, she takes off running to me. And, of course, shes chasing after the doves, quail, and lizards.Shes walked to Bonehead's tree several times. Bonehead is not buried here but we spread some of her ashes under her favorite tree. Bonehead didn't have front claws so she couldn't climb the tree so good, but Bella has been climbing higher and higher each time she visits the tree. I guess shes discovering that her claws are good for something other then playing with the scratching post. Thank goodness she likes her scratching post!!!!!! Here are some tasty morsels that she was watching. Shes not too sure about the hummingbirds, but the dove get real close to her. I'm thinking they might be a real stupid bird cause they keep coming back even though they've been chased by her. I'll have to read about doves on the internet. Maybe they don't feel threatened by her. Our friend Debbie and husband Russ adopted their cat when she was very young. They got her from PAWS too. Debbie started thinking about the ages of both cats and called PAWS. She found out that her cat and Bella are sisters. We decided to let them see each other again. They just kind of stared at each other and Bella hissed. Hmmmmmmmmm. Wonder if they knew each other? It was hard to tell. Bella doesn't have all the white on her and she was the runt of the litter. Interesting how they have the different markings.
