July 22nd has come and gone. It was my mom's birthday and mine. WOOHOO! Happy birthday to us! We both had a good day. The sun was out and me,my Mom,sister Christine, and Dan went out for Chinese food. Thats always good. The people in the Chinese joint know all of us and made Mom and I each a little birthday rice mouse. He had peas for eyes, peppers for a tail, mushroom ears, carrot tongue, and a cashew nut for a nose. Cute!!!!!!! The flowers are for me and Mom. Hers is the big bouquet and mine is the little one. I love the flowers in the little one. In a couple of days we'll be going to Red Lobster for another birthday dinner. Can't wait. I LOVE Red Lobster because I can get shrimp there that isn't breaded and deep fried. Yummy. So, now the July birthdays are done with and we'll continue on into the August birthdays and all my "once a year" doc appointments......Life is getting better for Dan. His sciatic nerve seems to be easing up on him. I'm so glad. He can drive now so thats a plus. Hes really had a hard time with the stupid nerve......The weather is being nice for a change. Its actually getting warm. The blueberries are loving the sun. I've made blueberry muffins from the first picking and the neighbor across the street picked yesterday. He was a happy camper. Bella is loving it outside. Dan has been letting her go outside our rig alone but only right outside the door. She knows that she can go in and out the door as it stays open for her. Shes been doing good so far. We'll try this when we're back in the desert in Arizona during the daytime. We're hoping that she likes the freedom and will stay close to our desert home. Of course she won't go out at night alone because of the coyotes and foxes. Time will tell..........Now that Dan is starting to feel better, some of the "to do" list has to be started. He won't be going up on the roof anytime too soon to finish up solar panels, but soon as we get another new motor for the front jacks, he can get that installed. He can be doing stuff that won't bother his leg. By time September gets here, we'll really be getting "road ready" like replacing the bad tires on our 5th wheel and getting new truck tires. Anyway, we have lots to do.
