We are in Parker, AZ at the La Paz County Park. What a change in this park! We have always loved coming here but this time is not the best. Our favorite spot is empty but the park has changed and the county put in dry camping on the river where we like to park. We chose not to park there this time as someone in the dry camping area has dogs that bark, bark, bark. Whats with that? And, they ran a very long extension cord to plug into electric (where we would have plugged in) and they are paying for dry camping. Whats with that too???????? We heard all this from the workampers that checked us in. Hmmmmmm. The spot we could have parked in is right on the river. Oh sigh. We'll probably try and stay here again sometime and hope the barking dog people have gone away. There is an opening here for a workamper but I don't think we would like "working" here. Its pretty here though. Here are some of the pictures I've taken.Bella does not like it here. Not too sure why. She was ok with the noise of the racetrack and the jets flying over. We're thinking that maybe the sounds from some of the speed boats have a different pitch that bothers her ears and makes her wanna run for home. Needless to say, Dan will carry her to go for a walk and shes been staying inside most of the time. Views of the Colorado River and people with their play toys. Seen this coyote across the river. This is as far as my camera can zoom in. It still looks ok for as far away as he was. We both love all the different palm trees, but boy oh boy are they ever loaded with little bugs. They look pretty against a nice sunset. Dan and I were sitting outside and I noticed that I could see our reflection in the motor home's wheel across from us. I thought that was pretty cool, so of course I had to take some pictures. Too bad the guy's wheel wasn't shiny clean. We'll be leaving here tomorrow, 10/25, and heading to our "other home" in Quartzsite for awhile. Bella will have lots of room to roam around and a "giant litter box" in the dry wash at her disposal. hahahahahaha..........To Kevin who reads my blog. Dan tried the WD-40. It didn't work. We're still trying to find something to remove all the black tire marks. Thanks for the suggestion. Audrey, your dad hasn't tried your suggestion yet.
