Bonehead's Traveling People

REMEMBERING OUR VETERANS TODAY 11/11/11 _________________________________ The last few days have been cold at night where we are using our furnace and chilly to us during the day. Bella likes the chillier weather but she doesn't understand that the critters don't come outdoors from under the ground as much. The desert floor is littered with holes dug by different critters. She has discovered the holes and has been laying on her side and sticking her whole arm down into the hole. Its funny to watch. Hoping she doesn't come across something in the hole that bites her. I'm thinking that if a critter sees her paw in the hole, they go the other way. I would love to have a tiny camera inside a hole and film her paw inching it's way in. That sounds like a Natural Geographic kind of thing......A few vendors are starting to set up in Quartzsite. I'm waiting for the food surplus store(we call it the dented can store)and the veggie/fruit lady to get set up. They are my favorite stores and I can just ride the quad to them. A view of our home in the desert while out walking Bella. You can't see the dry wash in this picture. Its to the right of the picture. You can be assured that when we have a good rain, you would be able to see the water flowing. Its amazing how fast the dry washes fill up with water.
