Bonehead's Traveling People

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY We drove to the Aquarius Casino in Laughlin and had the seafood buffet. I liked it better the other times we've been there. Dan liked it ok with all the crab he ate! We were gonna drive to Quartzsite today but Mother Nature says that the winds are gonna be gusty all weekend. Not good traveling weather in our opinions, so we're staying here at the KOA and will be back in Quartzsite on Monday the 19th. I'm looking out the window now and seeing the dust out in the distance. And I guess is snowed this morning at home in Bremerton. My sister Christine sent me a picture of my car covered with snow. My car sits in my mom's yard. Oh sigh. Guess ya gotta deal with whatever mommy nature dishes out.......Monday, 3/19, a very short travel day from Laughlin to Quartzsite. No wind and it was bright and sunny........Tuesday, 3/20. We are back in Quartzsite again parked in "our spot". Same place we've camped for the last 6 years. We had a most excellent travel day and although its chilly out, so far its been sunny. Bella LOVED being back here. She will get about 3 weeks of being here and playing in the desert, then we will venture on. Not sure where yet, but we'll be going. Quartzsite looks kind of quiet as compared to when we left for the racetrack. I'm supposing that we'll jump on the quad and go check it out. See what vendors are still here. I need to mail birthday cards anyway. A nice quad ride to the post office. Canadian Ken and Diane left this morning, Wednesday 3/21. We all went to Sizzler yesterday for dinner. It will be kind of lonely now as we are the only ones left out here in our area. We'll stay here until April 15th. That is the last day for our BLM (Bureau of Land Management) pass, then we'll be off to other adventures.
