My mom and sister Christine with the Easter bunny. Good picture. Mom is having breast cancer surgery today, 4/11, and I know everything will be ok with her.
Remember this tree from the last post? Its Bonehead's tree where there is a memorial for her and the tree where Bella seen the big lizard hiding in the hollow stump. Well, she went looking to see if the lizard was still there a couple of days ago and came face to face with a pack rat in the hole. They were having a stare down contest. Not too sure what the pack rat was doing out and about as they are pretty much nocturnal. He was a cute little guy. I did not get any pictures. You can look him up on the internet. Southwest Arizona pack rat. He has a HUGE nest right below the tree. You can see his "home" in these pictures. The white quartz rocks is the little memorial we made for Bonehead and where we spread some of her ashes. Bonehead never got to see the pack rat.
And, here is looking at Bonehead's tree from our 5th wheel.
Looks like Bella is saying, "what happened to the pack rat?" She goes everyday to look in the hollow of the tree.
Its been hot here until today. Its gonna be about 20 degrees cooler. And its been windy. We're on the downhill slide for leaving here. Getting road ready.
