Puyallup Fairgrounds

I have been VERY lazy about doing my blog. We left the Lucky Eagle RV Park and arrived at the Puyallup Fairgrounds in the rain. Rain, rain, and more rain on a Thursday. We parked on the best feeling ground as it was all muddy and mushy, then set up in the pouring rain. Not fun. The first couple of days was rain. It finally cleared up a bit then one night we had a DOWNPOUR that might have lasted 15 minutes. It was raining so hard that Dan and I checked all the vents on our rig to make sure we didn't have anything leaking. It was a real muddy mess after that rain quit.

The next day after setting up, Friday, we headed out to see Mary, Dan's mom. Took her to a lunch buffet at the Snoqualmie Casino then we played the slots for awhile. We were lucky that we came out ahead a little bit. The buffet wasn't anything to write home about and we won't go there again. The casino was also very smokey. Too bad..........On Saturday we headed to Camping World to buy some parts for the hot water heater and to buy a new toilet. Oh boy.

Happy Easter/Bunny Day! And its Easter. My youngest son Jason headed over from Bremerton to see us. Dan's youngest daughter Audrey and two of his grands, Nicholas and Tiffany, also headed down to Puyallup from Monroe to see us. We picked up Dan's mom and headed to a different casino to eat at their Easter buffet. The Muckleshoot Casino. This time it was a very good buffet. No gambling this time as the kids were with us. It didn't rain and turned out to be a half way decent day.
