VA ER trip

Well, as you can see in the picture below we've been to the VA ER in Seattle. Dan's primary doctor for the VA is here in Bremerton and he set up an appointment at the VA in Seattle for a cat scan so hopefully we can find out why Dan keeps getting the bronchitis/pneumonia back all the time. He told Dan that if he felt worse he could always go to the ER and they would do the cat scan. That sure didn't work. Dan went into the ER coughing and hacking and they just "patted him on his back". They only did an x-ray, gave him a breathing treatment, some antibiotics, and sent him on his way with him still coughing and hacking and, and, and.....They told him that his xray was "pristine". Oh sure. Whatever. The VA is starting to suck big time. This ER doctor was in so much of a hurry that she was almost rude, she cut off what we had to say, wouldn't listen, and would be out the door again. The ER doctors are probably overworked, but we sure would stay and wait longer for them if they would give us more time. You can't talk to someone who won't even look at you because they need to move on RIGHT NOW! GEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZ....Anyway, Dan will go to his scheduled appointment and take care of business. I sure can see why they are having problems now. Oh. We did love the nurse that took care of Dan. She told us everything we wanted to know and answered all our questions the best she could. She did everything the doctor should have been doing. The nurses deserve more pay and more recognition. The doctor SUCKED! OK, I'm done complaining about the VA for right now.
This is how Seattle traffic looked when being driven back to the ferry from the VA. It sucked going north and south. Bumper to bumper.

Here is Idris and his Lincoln Towncar. He has several cars and is MUCH better and A LOT cheaper then a scary Seattle taxi driver. We accidentally found him soliciting for business when we got off the ferry a couple of months ago. A taxi charges anywhere from 30 bucks to 40 bucks, depending on the traffic and the route they take, for a trip from the Seattle ferry dock to the VA and that's not including the tip. Not gonna do that. Idris charges us 15 bucks and we give him a nice tip. His car is plush and he provides bottled water. When we are almost done at the VA, we give him a call or text and he will come pick us up. This whole process is cheaper then taking our truck on the ferry, using our fuel, and takes away the stress of trying to find a parking place. The VA is doing LOTS of construction and parking is slim pickings for a big truck.
