And, back to the VA in Seattle again for Dan's CT scan. Of course our friendly driver picked us up again. Then the next day we had to drive to American Lake, south of Tacoma to the VA there. This time it was an evaluation for getting shots in his back again. Just long, long days. On the VA visit to Seattle we decided to eat at Ivar's Acres of Clams on the Seattle waterfront. There is always a gazillion seagulls hanging around looking for a handout. If you are gonna eat outside there, you need to realize that the birds will be there intently watching you. If you don't want to have seagulls hanging around you looking for a handout, don't go eat there. We ate inside and had a window seat. The birds put on a good show and are fun to watch. Here are some pictures of our trip.
This is the view from the ferry of Puget Sound Navel Shipyard when leaving Bremerton, heading to Seattle
A view of the Manette bridge connecting East Bremerton with West Bremerton
Look back at Bremerton from the ferry. The waterfront of Bremerton has REALLY changed. Its just not the same anymore. I don't much like how it looks now and I don't like the changes. The little boat on the left of the picture is the foot ferry to Port Orchard, across from Bremerton.
OK. Here are all the pictures of the seagulls at Ivar's. I was taking pictures with my phone so they are a little hazy, but you get the drift of what I was doing.
When we're not going to the VA, we've been picking blueberries and blackberries in my Mom's yard. Made muffins with "just picked" blueberries and they were YUMMY! Also doing stuff on our rig to get it "road ready" again for leaving here if we ever get the VA appointments all done.
