Good Wednesday afternoon! Good RAINY Wednesday afternoon! It just got done POURING! And it hailed. Ahhhhhhhhh, feels like home now. hahahahahaha. Poor Bonehead sure didn't like the sound of the rain and hail hitting the roof of the 5th wheel. I put a picture of her looking up at the ceiling not liking all the noise on the roof. She won't go outside anymore today now. Its all wet and muddy out and shes prissy about getting her paws wet. haha.. Went to the Post Office today and looked at some of the shops in Florence. Glad we came home when we did or we would have been caught in the downpour. Don't like seeing the "beware of flash flood" signs along the road............Yesterday we ended up going to Apache Junction, northwest of us. We found everything there that we needed. Safeway, the Harley shop, Bank of America, and STARBUCKS! WOOHOO! Sure do love my latte! We did have to go into the east side of Mesa for Costco, but just right on the Apache Junction border. We'll be going back to Apache Junction to do alot of our sight-seeing, when the weather decides to be good again. Shoot, just yesterday it was in the high 70's and it sure felt good! We'll finish out today by me getting valentine cards and birthday cards ready to mail. And Dan is trying to figure out how to record a DVD from our direct TV so we can record a program when it comes on again Feb 6th. Last night we were watching "Sturgis: Hell on Wheels" on the National Geographic Channel and guess who we seen!!!!!!!!!! US! We went to Sturgis in 2004 with about 6 bikes and one trike that followed us. One day we were walking across the street in Sturgis and we seen a guy filming. He yelled over at us, "show your tits"! I know he was yelling at the women, but Dan, Lloyd, and Steve (they were part of a big group that followed us to Sturgis that year), all lifted up their shirts! Dan about fell off the sofa when he seen us on TV last night. It was too funny. Sure hope he can figure out how to record. Wish I could put a picture of that on here, but I can't. You'll just have to believe me or watch the National Geographic Channel on Feb. 6th at 7pm. Not sure what time zone. Probably eastern, but you could check in the TV guide if you get that channel. If you can watch it, you'll see the shirt lifting after the first commercial. Dan is in the middle and I'm almost behind him. We both have red and black bandannas on. Give me some feed back if anyone sees it on TV...........Well, the rain has stopped and the sun is peaking out before it sets for the night. The dry, desert ground is real mucky right now.........I put some neat cactus pictures on here. And the little cactus thingys laying on the ground (they look like prickley tribbles from Star Trek). Don't EVER step on one! I did and our friend Bruce had to pull it out of my tennis shoe. It went all the way into my foot. Felt like the points were barbed. OUCH! I watch where I'm walking now. We've pulled some little ones out of Bonehead's paws............Oh, Bonehead finally asked to go outside. I took her out once and now Dan is out with her. She won't last long as its so muddy out there. I had to leave my shoes out under the 5th wheel, they were so caked with desert mud. Next time I'll wear my rubber boots, which I just happened to bring with me.......
